I like to delve into discographies, and I like to start at random points - basically ramming my shovel into the ground with a self-confident attitude while keeping a straight face. Floors of Heaven shalt mark my descent into Ultha's discography, and it makes for a rocksolid (digging-metaphor pun intended?) start. These are two tracks filled with bleak, dystopian sentiment; a schizophrenic hopelessness manifesto: gelid and slashing on the one hand, grinding and gruelling on the other. Solid! David Fischer

thanks Fluisteraars! I just love your music. A very good atmosphérique black metal band with experimental/ ambient passage. This album is literally one of my classics in my black metal journey.
The first time I heard this record, I feel scared and no other album make me feel that. Just, I feel like it's probably my favourite black metal album of all time. Continue in that way ! quentin_milcent

US Black Metal. Yesss! Not sure why it took me so long to get here but... What can I say? I am sloooowww... :) I am loving this & agree with all comments, particularly Umbra's. This really is a fantastic BM ritual all the way! Plus they have a new album due out by the end of 2023! Highly recommended!!! bmurator

After the slap that was LEDE in 2016, I was eagerly awaiting the release of their 4th album, and 5 years after the last one, the immense SLONK lands to make it into my Top5 of 2021.
Incredibly dense and compact, the 37 minutes album flies by in no time.
Always as unhealthy, sludgy and crusty doomy black metal, they show that they perfectly master their style and that they can always go further! drs_dramm
